Spam Policy
What
is spamming?
Simply put, "spam" is unsolicited e-mail and "spamming" is the sending
of unsolicited emails. This means the sending of e-mail, usually in bulk
batches, to parties that have not subscribed to or asked to receive such
e-mail.
Sometimes "spam" contains false headers devised to create enough interest
in the recipient to encourage the him/her to open the e-mail. Sometimes
"spammers" take steps to hide the true origin of the e-mail by using methods
to display a false or non-existent source of the e-mail.
Royal Vegas Poker recognizes that "spamming" is a wrongful practice and
has a strict "no-spam" policy.
What
is the Anti-Spamming Policy of Royal Vegas Poker?
- Bulk
e-mails emanating from Royal Vegas Poker are only sent to registered
players who, by virtue of the fact that they have registered an account
with Royal Vegas Poker, have a prior business relationship with Royal
Vegas Poker. The frequency of these e-mails may vary but we send out
a personalized promotional e-mail offer at least once a week.
- In
addition, only players that have selected the "Opt In" option upon registration,
or subsequent to registration, are placed on the Royal Vegas Poker e-mail
lists.
- Players
are entitled to remove themselves from our e-mail lists at any time
by making use of the unsubscribe options explained in each e-mail. There
may be instances where a player, having unsubscribed from our general
promotional offers, still receives further personalized offers. If this
is the case and the player wishes to unsubscribe from such personal
offers, the player should send an e-mail to unsubscribe@royalvegaspoker.com
with the word "UNSUBSCRIBE" in the subject header. It is important to
note that an unsubscribe request may take up to seventy-two (72) hours
to completely process through our database.
- If,
after unsubscribing, you still receive what you consider to be "spam"
from Royal Vegas Poker, please send a copy of the email (with the email
header intact), to abuse@royalvegaspoker.com
- We
will investigate each occurrence of unsolicited email and, if it is
in fact spam, will act quickly to stop this abusive behaviour.
