DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING
How
do I get my free software?
What do I do once I have finished the download?
What's the name of the installation file?
Can my computer handle these games?
How do I get connected?
1. How do I get my free software?
It's
really simple - just look for any DOWNLOAD
button to start downloading your free Royal Vegas Poker software.
Once you find it, double click and away you go! Save the file to your
hard drive.
Make sure you remember where you saved your file
- you'll need to go back there later to install the programme.
2. What do I do once I have finished the download?
You
are now ready to install the Royal Vegas Poker software! Simply double-click
on the poker software "exe" file.
Where is this you ask? Hopefully, you remembered where you saved the
download. Go into that folder and you'll find it. If you can't remember,
you'll have to go and find it.
Click on the "Start" button at the bottom left-hand side of this screen,
and select "search". You'll need a keyword to start the search - *poker*
will do the trick. Once you have found it, double-click on it and
install the software. If you still can't find it, give up and call
us to help you.
3. What's the name of the installation file?
royalvegaspoker.exe
4. Can my computer handle these games?
You'll need at least these before you
can play:
- IBM PC compatible computer
- Pentium 100 or higher
- 16 MB RAM
- 1MB Video Card
- 8-bit color SVGA (640x480) - 256 colors
- Microsoft compatible mouse
- Standard Sound Blaster - compatible sound card (optional)
If you have these, it'll be even better:
- Pentium 233 MMX or better
- DirectX 3 or higher
- 32 Megs memory or better
- SoundBlaster compatible sound card
- 2 MB SVGA screen card capable of 16-bit color (65535 color mode)
If
you have either Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT or
Windows XP - you're good to go.
Please note that you will not be able to play using an
Apple Mac.
5. How do I get connected?
First
of all, you need to be online. Then it's just like opening a regular
program file. The one way is to go to the "Start" button
in Windows, select "Programs", choose "Royal Vegas Poker",
click "Play Poker".
Otherwise you will have a Royal Vegas Poker shortcut
that was placed on your desktop during the installation process -
double-click that and you're off and running!

LOGGING IN
How
can I log in to the poker room?
What's my password/account number?
What if I can't log in?
1. How can I log in to the poker room?
As we've just explained in Downloading
and Installing - Point 5, go through the process to open up the
poker room program. Once you can see the poker room screen, click
the "Login" button. The dialogue box will appear - enter
your account number and password. If you haven't registered, see Registration
- Point 1.
2. What's my password/account number?
If
you forget your password or account number, simply contact
us and we'll help you out. You'll need to tell us your
full name, address details, telephone number, and the first 4 and
last 4 digits of any credit card number registered on your poker account.
Remember: Your password is case sensitive,
and must be entered in the same way each time.
3. What if I can't log in?
If you can't connect, and your log-in details are
right, you'll probably find that you have a slow connection
to your Internet Service Provider. The best thing to do is to disconnect
completely and go back in again. If this doesn't fix it, contact our
customer
service.

REGISTRATION
How can I register
at the Poker room?
If I don't want to spend too much
money - what is the minimum amount of gaming credits I can buy?
If I want to play for free, why do
I have to give my credit card number?
What do you mean by Guest player?
I'm a Guest player and I've run out
of chips, can I get more?
1. How can I register at the Poker room?
Once you're on the main poker room screen, click on "Login",
and then click on the "Register" button.
Now you have a couple of options. You can register
as a Guest (with free credits that the poker
room provides) or be a Real Player (where
you purchase credits for real and WIN real credits as well as receive
FREE money promotions).
You just have to follow the instructions and enter
your email and contact details. When you're asked to enter a password,
bear in mind that it's case-sensitive and
you should keep a record of it somewhere
so you won't forget it.
Once this is all done, we'll give you a player
account number. Keep it in a safe place so that you
won't lose it! You'll need it each and every time you want to play.
We'll also ask you if you want the software to remember
your password. We recommend that you only select "yes"
if you are the only one who has access to the software on your PC.
Choose this option advisedly - if anyone else has access to your
software they can play using YOUR MONEY!
2. If I don't want to spend too much money -
what is the minimum amount of gaming credits I can buy?
You'll need at least $20 to start playing.
But, if you just feel like experimenting, all you have to do is register
as a Guest and you can have as much fun as you want with free poker
chips.
3. If I want to play for free, why do I have
to give my credit card number?
You don't! You're probably trying to open Real
player account by mistake. If this is the case, contact
us and we'll help you open a Guest account.
4. What do you mean by Guest player?
A
Guest player means that you can have fun for free!
You can try out the games using unlimited virtual money, and if you
want to get serious later, you can always become a Real player.
5. I'm a Guest player and I've run out of chips,
can I get more?
In Guest mode you can get as many free credits
as you like. Just click on "Purchase" and spend away!
